I’m sure more and more of you have now heard of the phenomenonthat is Grey’s Anatomy, but as it’s my number one show that’s on television at the moment I’ve decided to dedicated a whole section to it on missdramaqueen.co.uk! For those of you who haven’t become acquainted with Seattle Grace, where the hell have you been for the past five years? Grey’s Anatomy is THE best medical drama that has graced the networks since E.R! It’s got action, drama, humour and most importantly sex and love appeal!
For those of you not in the know, here are the top ten things about Grey’s Anatomy, according to Miss Drama Queen:
10. The soundtrack… never has there been such an enjoyable soundtrack on T.V. From Snow Patrol to The Fray, it gets me dancing in my seat while I’m watching all of the action!
9. The budget… this has obviously increased season after season; the proof is in the pudding, so to speak, as the special effects and scenes just keep on getting more and more impressive.
8. The cast… it is an amazing ensemble cast. From the regulars to guest appearances, the acting is first class. Ellen Pompeo plays Meredith Grey perfectly and Grey’s has produced some movie stars in the making, such as Katherine Heigl and Patrick Dempsey.
7. The bitching… the arguing, the bitching and the fighting keeps Seattle Grace on it’s toes and ensures that there is never a dull moment.
6. The best cliff hangers ever… 007 at the end of Season 5 anyone?! Need I say more?
5. The on call room… never has one on call room seen so much action.
4. The gripping story lines… Denny Duquette, Yang and Burke, George and the army, Izzie’s cancer, Meredith’s issues, Addison and Derek; so many amazing story lines I couldn’t possibly name them all.
3. The ability to make us all doctors… don’t we all think we could perform major surgeries or diagnose anything from watching Grey’s?
2. The relatable characters… they may be doctors and high flyers but they’re as messed up as you and me; this makes for amazing T.V!
1. The insanely hot, orgasmic men… McDreamy? McSteamy? Owen? Karev? Never has one show provided so many phwoar moments!
If there’s one show you start to watch this winter, make sure it’s Grey’s Anatomy.
