As Coronation Street approaches it’s 50th year, the shows producers are actively seeking big stars to make cameo appearance during 2010.
The shows anniversary is in December of next year and Noel Gallagher, ex Oasis guitarist, is rumoured to be in talks about starring in the Manchester based soap.
Corrie producer, Kim Crowther, recently told the shows website: “We are planning lots for the 50th anniversary; it will be must-see television. It would be fab to see Tracy Barlow back, wouldn’t it?
“I would love to bring Hilda back – and Mavis. Noel Gallagher would be great. There are also plans for some new faces in the factory.”
Gallagher openly admits to being a fan, saying: “Why they’ve never asked me to be in it is really one of the scandals of our age.”
