Simon Cowell has revealed that he is yet to decide on the winner’s single for this years X Factor. Rumours have been circulating that songs are being picked that suit Joe McEldry, suggesting that Simon believes he knows who the winner will be.
Speaking on last Saturday’s X Factor, Cowell said that he would not make his final decision on the track until he knew who was in the ITV1 shows final.
“We have part recorded a number of songs this year. I’m going to make a decision next week as to what the winning record is going to be,” he told The Xtra Factor.
“Different tempos, different kinds of songs, but I will 100% make the right decision for the two finalists. I’ve heard a couple of them already and they are really good.”
Two songs on the cards are reported to be Miley Cyrus’ The Climb and Journey’s Don’t stop believin.
The X Factor final is on Saturday 12th December on ITV.
