It already feels like Glee has been off our screens for too long, and we’ve still got to wait until April 19th for it’s return to E4. The mid-season break comes after a four month hiatus over the pond in America. The second part of the sensational first series promises more scandal, more singing and more celebrity!
It’s well known that there will be a Madonna episode, with rumours hinting that even the corrupt Cheerios coach, Sue, will show us her singing voice! She’s more determined to ruin things for Will and Glee club, and is crueler than ever, sniping at Will “I thought I smelled cookies wafting from the little elves who live in your hair.” It’s Sue who makes way for the Madge packed episode, as we find out the she has a freaky obsession with the Queen of Pop.
The creator of Glee, Ryan Murphy, is determined to get the ratings up and is planning a Lady Gaga episode with renditions of “Poker Face” and “Bad Romance”, but more importantly, Gaga inspired costumes. This will be one episode that I can’t wait for!
The second half of series one introduces us to new characters, one of whom will try to seduce Rachel, and guest appearances by Neil Patrick Harris, Molly Shannon, Olivia Newton John and Kristin Chenoworth.
