Pretty in pink

Fashion may be about black, grey and nudes this season, but in beauty the colour to splash out on is PINK! Stella McCartney used it in her show in Paris last month, followed swiftly by Emanuel Ungaro, Yves Saint Laurent and Kenzo. Whether it was cerise or apricot, the feminine palettes were being used by anyone who’s in the know.

Pink make up, be it a blush or full on eye colour, breathes life into the more demure shades that are sure to be everywhere this season. Make-up artist, Tom Pecheux (for Kenzo), used orange shades, which are said to be Autumn/Winter 2010 version of the pink pretties that we’re seeing now. It seems to me, that no matter what the weather brings us, summer is here to stay for the rest of the year!
