Top rockers to accept charity award

Here at missdramaqueen.co.uk, we like to think that our tastes are eclectic and varried. That’s why we’re so pleased to hear that one of our favourite rock bands, Muse, have been awarded a very deserving title.

Muse Presented By MySpace Music

Muse are set to accept the 2010 Nordoff-Robbins Silver Clef award- a prize which they humbly turned down last yeat as they felt they didn’t deserve it. The prize is for musicians who raise money for the charity.

Muse decided to accept the award this year, with frontman Matt Bellamy stating: “We are delighted to be presented this year’s Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef and join the ranks of such artists as Robert Plant, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Elton John and The Who.

“Nordoff Robbins is an exceptional charity that has a positive impact on so many people’s lives and we are very proud to be recognised by them.”

Muse will be presented with the award in July 2nd. The ceremony will be presented by Sharon Osbourne.
