Hitting our screens in 9 July 2010 (UK), Stephenie Meyer’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is set to be a hit at cinemas around the world. The film will be released by Summit Entertainment.

New Moon sets New Records

New Moon has smashed records left, right and centre at the box office on it’s opening day. The second movie in the Twilight Saga grossed $72.7million on it’s opening day, already eclipsing the $50million movie budget.

New Moon has beaten records set by Dark Knight and has beaten Twilight’s opening weekend.

It has been estimated that New Moon will take £140 million in it’s opening weekend.

Not bad for a bunch of vampires and werewolves!

R-Pattz prefers film scene to that in the novel

When asked recently if there are any scenes that the cast of New Moon prefer in the film to the book, most cast members showed their respect for “Mrs Twilight”, Stephanie Meyer, by respectfully answering “NO!”

Lucky for us British hunk R-Pattz isn’t one to sit on the fence. When asked Robert Pattinson went around the house (albeit 10 times) to say that the”break up scene” between Bella and Edward is excellent in the film. Of the book version, Pattinson says that it is a very long scene and that he and Kristen Stewart perform it intensely enough in the briefer version in the movie.

I don’t care if Rob is blowing his own trumpet, I can’t wait to see it!
