An ITVspokesperson confirmed Hamilton’s exit, saying: “We can confirm that George has left the jungle. You will have to watch the show tonight to find out why.” Hamilton was one of the bookmakers’ favourites to win the show, which ends on Friday.

On yesterday’s episode, Hamilton spoke about leaving for the first time, admitting that he didn’t want to go “head-to-head” with people who are “starting careers”.

I’m A Celebrity… continues tonight at 8.30pm on ITV1.

The Sun newspaper reports that the former glamour model and business woman left the show because she was constantly being voted to complete the grueling tasks.

Katie stated: “I can’t do another trial. I’m walking. There’s only so much crap one person can take.

“The way I’ve been treated on the show by the viewers, you’d think I was the most hated woman in Britain.”

“It is getting beyond a joke. Everyone seems to hate me so much more than I thought.

“I said at the start that I came on the show for a bit of peace and quiet, to try and get my head together after the divorce. But now I’m feeling uncomfortable.”

A source for ITV has confirmed that Katie has left the jungle, and it has been reported on the show’s website. How will the camp change now that Price has left?

Speaking to the New of the world, Reid, 34, stated: 

“I’m definitely asking her to marry me and I’m convinced she’s going to say yes. I might pop the question on TV.

“One idea is I make the proposal in front of cameras on the show, but whatever happens, I know this is right. I’ve never felt this way before.

“I’m convinced Katie’s going to feel the same way. I know what we’re like when we’re together. When I’m with Katie it’s full-on 24/7.

“She ended the Pete chapter of her life in that jungle. Now it’s time for her to start a new fairytale. But this time I think it’ll go the distance.”

Reid has been saving for a flashy ring for Katie, saying that she deserves something fit for a princess. 

“I want the very best I can afford. Katie has very delicate hands and very specific tastes.

“I’ve picked out a design of a pink diamond in an ornate setting. I’m going shopping in the next few days on the way to Australia.

 ”I already have one in mind but I’ll have to see what takes my fancy when I go to the jewellers. It will be a ring fit for the princess she is. One she can love and cherish forever.”

Alex isn’t even considering the fact that Katie may reject him. Let’s hope that the cross dressing cage fighter is disappointed.

“And, more importantly I can’t even begin to contemplate being away from the kids for a month. The good news is this means I’ll have the kids to myself, which is amazing. You have no idea how happy this makes me.”

Andre met his now estranged wife, Katie Price, in 2004 when they both stared in the show.

Price entered the jungle last night… looks like there’s no job too desperate for Jordan.

“It’s not the snakes, spiders and creepy crawlies they should be worried about. I can easily be their worst nightmare. I’ve never heard of most of them anyway which is probably why they are paying me so much more. I’ll certainly use that to get their backs up if I have to.”

Price also claimed that she’ll get in the shower with Sam Fox so that the public can decide which “breast is best”. Katie seems to have had her lines and lips plumped in preparation for her latest publicity stunt.

Tune in to ITV tomorrow to see Jordan enter the jungle. Will it be all fun and games or will Price be the bitch of the jungle?

The other celebs entered by jumping out of a plane, riding wild horses and, wait for it, walking… STOP PRESS! Someone simply walked into the camp? Yes, George and Kim walked into the camp, but let’s face it, this was probably challenging enough for the OAPs of the camp.

The rest of the opener was pretty uneventful. Ant and Dec shone as always. They are outstanding and many people only watch the show for them. Kim got voted for the bush tucker trial. Speaking of Kim, does anyone else think that she’s got the hots for George? That caravan may be rocking (or sagging, as Janice Dickinson suggested)!

Tune in tomorrow to see Kim’s trial and the entrance of a certain celebrity who thinks she’s already won. Time will tell…

“Team Price or Team Andre?” was the question on all of our minds and with the help of some bad press and crazy behaviour, Katie has abruptly fallen from being the nations glamour darling to one of the most loathed women in the UK. Whilst Peter has stayed slightly more dignified about things, Jordan has reared her ugly head, over-inflated assets and enormous ego once again and decided to go back to where she started with her estranged husband; the Australian jungle welcomes Katie Price back on Sunday…

Katie is reportedly being paid almost half a million pounds for her second stint in the jungle; may I add that this is a job that only last week Peter Andre reportedly turned down. Price, 31, is seeing this trial as a chance to regain some popularity. Peter, 36, is said to be livid at her decision, especially as Price’s son to Dwight Yorke, Harvey, is said to have been very poorly of late.
